    Check this solution -

"Unexpected console error [0x80010000]" appears when attempting to edit Administrator or Limited Administrator properties in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager

I am going to move this thread to the Endpoint Protection forum.

    Hello,

What version of SEPM are you carrying?

A quick observation shows that its windows 7 and SEPM console, is that the Java SEPM console?

Perform a repair install on the local management console.

If that does not help, Perform an uninstall of the Java remote console and reinstall and change the sesm.xml file to location counting being false per the directions in this doc as below:

Title: 'Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager is slow to respond with large numbers of groups in the environment'
    Document ID: 2008052709295248
    > Web URL: http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-security.nsf/docid/2008052709295248?Open&seg=ent

    OR

if Possible upgrade the SEPM to the latest version.

The only  possible solution would be, most likely, to uninstall SEPM, and re-install it.

    Hello Secure,

Appreciate that you told me that the SEPM is on the Windows 2008 machine.

I again checked the Screenshot properly and found you are taking a RDP session on the Server for making changes to the Policies in the SEPM.

Are you logging in to the Server in the Console Mode?

Check the Opening a remote Console Session & Shadowing the Console Session part in the Article provided below:
