  • 1.  Updating my platform

    Hello,

    I have a SEE 7, and now I need to update to SEE 8. I have the steps to do this in the console management. But in case of clients. It is neccesary decrypt and encrypt again to update the client? Or only update the client but the encryption remains like the first time?.

    ...remains the same.  I've a laptop here that's been upgraded from 7.0.5 all the way to 8.2.0MP2, using the same process throughout.  It's just an inplace upgrade of the Framework Client, followed by Full Disk and Removable Storage as needed, using the "reinstall=all reinstallmode=vomus" bits on the end.
