  • 1.  SEP Client 12.1 showing offline randomly

    Posted Feb 14, 2012 10:14 AM

I have few SEP Clients 12.1 showing offline in SEPM console but these clients are online and they are working fine yesterday. It seems that my SEPM Console randomly picks few clients and flags them as offline. Any idea? thanks.

    1. Is Sepm installed on windows xp if yes this condition is correct as windows xp only supports 10 concurrent connections at a time .
    2. If this is not windows xp sepm then is port 8014 open from firewall and windows firewall completely ?
    3. Paste sylink debug logs while the client is offine from the client .
    4. Are the client cloned images ?

    Hi,

It may happen if you are using OS image & not followed recommended practice.

Check following Public KB for more details:

    Thumbs up to Chetan's post!

if it is imaged machines you will experience the issue. if it does not solve, then you can check the troubleshooting for SEP 12.1 communication
