SEP 11.0.7 MP2 upgrade to SEP 12.1.1 RU1 or SEP 12.1.1 MP1

Hi all professional,

I just updated the Endpoint server from 11.0.6 MP2 to 11.0.7 MP2. I found some problem when I install 11.0.7 MP2 client. So I want to upgrade to the new Endpoint version. Can I upgrade it directly from 11.0.7 MP2 to 12.1.1 MP1?

I have a critical problem when I installed 11.0.7 MP2 client to the server. The server event log captured a ftdisk error and event id 45 and 49. I have installed to 5 servers, both servers show the same error after reboot.

The event id 45 error is "The system could not sucessfully load the crash dump driver."

The event id 49 error is "Configuring the Page file for crash dump failed. Make sure there is a page file on the boot partition and that is large enough to contain all physical memory."

I try to set to no page file in the Virtual memory setting but still show the error.

Server config as below

IBM X3650 Server, 8GB RAM, 1.2TB HD (Raid 5) and 2 partitions (C and D)

Windows 2003 Server std R2 64Bit and Exchange Server 2007

Who have experience to fix this error? Please advise me....

Yes, you can be upgrade 12.1.1 MP1

only the SEP 12.1 RU1 version can be upgraded to 12.1 RU 1 MP1.
