    How can I move an unmanged client to managed on the client side?  In 10, just copy grc.dat.  in 11 I've had trouble locating the correct symlink.xml and knowing where to put it, and I don't know if that will make unmanaged client as managed.  Will it also move manged clients between groups and servers?

    I think I have the correct procedure, but I'm not seeing a change either in the console or on the client side:
    All this work and it doesn't work!
    Find correct policy:
    In console>clients>(groupname)>Details>Policy Serial Number

    Now on server:
    Share C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\outbox\agent\(policy)\sylink.xml

    On client side (WinXp Client)
        Add to registry:
        Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
        [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC]
        "TPMState"=dword:00000080
    Now run:
    "C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\smc.exe" -import \\servershare\(policy)Sylink.xml
