  • 1.  Symantec Management Server Error

    I always got stuck in this error:

    error altiris.PNG

    After some restarts, luckily is fixed!

    Does anybody know whats the problem and a better solution (not restart)??

    Check the services and application pools in IIS

    Hi,

    As i am also working on Altiris, I have faced this issue, this is because of the communication error between Altiris application and Database.If you refresh the altiris URL or page or reloging on altiris web application the problem may resolved.There may be strong chances of Web Server comminication(IIS) with with Altiris application is intrupting.

    Yes, after some restart work!! But i cant stand this error, it happens very often!

    Can't still find a solution for it!

    I agree with all of the above. Another thing you could check is the DB log file.

    I have seen this error when my log file consumes all the space on the drive of the SQL server, if you shrink the log file this solves the issue. Remember to have a propper DB maintenance plan set up.
