When is the next release of SEP comming out?

    I have NEVER had so many installations issues with SAV or SEP until version 12.1.2015 2015 came along. It started out well, but I have seen it roll back for no reason, NOT install at all and TOTALLY misread the O/S. If I installed it on a PC that has W7 64 Bit, it detects it as a Windows Vista machine. Does anyone even USE Vista any longer? In same cases I had to put 11.x clients back on to get SOME degree of protection.

    Last I heard was in March but it got pushed back.

    Per this thread, Paul says later this week:

    2nd to last post from Paul:

    "Should be available later this week, I think we are RTM'ing later today.  A couple of late fixes held it up a little, my apologies."

    The maintenance patch is immenent, but RU3 was scheduled for June I believe.

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Release Update 2 Maintenance Patch 1 (SEP 12.1 RU2 MP1) is in the process of being made available now.  I understand that it should be available for general download early next week. 

    There will also be a Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Release Update 3 which will follow within a  couple months.

    i wanted to say that im pretty happy with the main RU2 release, having no issues at all atm.

    SEP 12.1 RU2 MP1 has been released on 8th April 2013.
