    How to verify the software management plgin installed on which systems and which are pending and how to deploy?

    Usually Software Update Plug-in is rolled out to clients where Symantec Management Agent is installed using policy (Notification Server Console > All settings > Agents/Plug-ins > Software > Patch Management > Software Update Plug-in Install). In this case package with Software Update Plug-in will be distributed to target computers and then installed.

    If you want to distribute Software Update Plug-in using another way, you can find installation files at the following location(in case if Patch Management Solution is installed on your NS): "...\Altiris\Patch Management\Packages\Windows Agent\"

    Check your Target for the Software Management Solution Plug-in Install Policy is the "All Computers without Software Management Plug-in" Filter and set it to run daily. You can check the contents of the filter in Filters > Software Filters > Agent and Plug-in Filters.

    Run the Software Execution report, export to CSV, open in Excel and filter to see if the Policy is failing repeatedly on any PCs.
