what is the version of SEP installed?
what is the Operating system on which SEP client is installed? post the sylink logs from one of such machines where proactive definition is not updating.

by enablin g liveupdate does the clients get updated?

Check the contents of the location path:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\SyKnAppS

You should find the following files & folders:

Folders
    Freezer
    LiveUpdate
    Updates
Files
    patch25.dll
    SyKnApps.dll
    SyKnApps.grd
    SyKnApps.sig
    SyKnApps.spm
    cohcol.grd
    cohcol.sig
    cohcol.wlt
    cal.grd
    cal.sig
    cal.wlt

If any of the above files/folder in the SyKnAppS folder are missing, then this should be replaced from a computer where PTP is updating definitions.

Make sure that the SEP service is stopped before replacing.
Replace missing files
Start SEP service again
    Start > Run > Services.msc > Symantec Endpoint Protection Service
Reboot the SEP client.
SEP client should show the latest PTP definition date and should continue updating

What  Operating  system?

On an x64 bit based OS, NTP or certain portion of it anyway are as of yet still not fucional.

What version of OS are you using?

If Server - Itanium? x64?

The Version is 11.0.4014.26, there are total 100 Users all are managed client and only  the primary domain controler and two normal PC is not updating PTP it showing the definision date one month before where else all othe computers showing yesterdays date

Ther Version is 11.0.4014.26   OS Win server 2003 , liveupdate is ok..all are updating....and PTP also 95% computers are getting update.  Please tell me how I cam check the sylink log

Thanks , Mudit, I have checked the perticular directory and I found all files are existing.  However Shall I copy these files from another pc which has updated PTP ..?

I have seen that discussion you refered, but in our case..95% computers are updating correctly expect one DC and other two computers.
