Morning all, I'm trying to start a project to move our v10 parent servers and clients to v11, and I was wondering if the SEP Manager and SAV System Centre can co-exist on the same server? Not a major biggy if no, but it would save on an OS licence :-)

Yes SEPM and the SSC can co exist on the same server.

Also SEPM , SSC and SAV client can co exist

But SEP client cannot co exist with SSC and SAV client

Also the procedure for upgrade should be:

    1. On the same machine whereSSC is there install SEPM
    2. Push all the client to all the machine except the server
3.Once all the clients are insatlled and are reporting in the SEPM , then uninstall SSC and SAV from the server and install SEP client.

Should I install the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console on the same computer as Symantec System Center?

You can install the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console on the same computer as Symantec System Center, but it is not required. If you plan on managing a large number of legacy Symantec clients, a best practice is not to install the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console on the same computer that runs Symantec System Center to avoid performance and communication problems.
