endpoint deployment roll back while installing

  • 1.  endpoint deployment roll back while installing

    hi, attach is the log file.

     

    tried using remote deployment and it auto roll back

     

    tried to create a package and install on the PC itself and it auto roll back also.

     

    can anyone help?

    Did you try cleanwipe tool before installation ?

    Can you post SIS_INST.log ?

    Cleanwipe i encounter an error Failed to initialize sepremovaltoolnative. Waitforsingleobject returned 258. Last error 0..... Check the sepremovaltoolnative_x86.log it state Fatal parent is not trusted. Where do i find the sis install log?

    Did you try latest Cleanwipe tool ?

    latest Cleanwipe tool available in file connect

    SIS_INST.LOG is located at the following location:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.XXXX\Data\Install\Logs

    only found 

     

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\12.1.XXXX\Data\

     

    and inside there is only a Cached installs folder and nothing else

    What sep exact version are you trying to install ?

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 client install rolls back, returning 1603

    SEP client installation rolls back at creating install cache.

    Create the unmanage package and install it after that replace sylink to register with manager

    Did you have any sep previous version ?

    Please try to install old version because we have see some couple of same issue regarding SEP client roll back in SEPM 12.1.4

    yes previously install version 11. xx??

     

    now i tried to use SEP to install direct and same thing happen it roll back by itself

    Please try to install again SEP 11 client ?if it's success you can contact to symantec support we have received have problem couple of time.

    The SEP_INST.log is referencing the SIS_INST.lof file, can you post that please?
