    Hi rabbit313,

This question has come up before: here's the advice then:

I get this error message "Check that java directory is in PATH " .How can I resolve this .
--Install and configure a compatible version of Java, and retry with root permissions.

My SAVFL updates fine, but I went out of my way to ensure I had the recommended Java. It looks from your log like the JLU on your Linux box can't really even get started correctly.

Here's a cool blog entry that may help: http://tim-boyer.blogspot.com/2010/02/configuring-local-liveupdate-repository.html

By the way, here is an article you may be interested in:

    Hi rabbit313,

Just checking to see if you were able to resolve your issue, and if so is there any advice or experience you can add to the forum for the benefit of future admins?

    With thanks and best regards,
