Thank you for a response.
Yes, I've tried using the Official Access CD on the same computer and it had no problems unlocking the drive and access the filesystem.
I also tried booting my MSDart \ Access CD on two other SEE Workstations with different hardware and again, the results are the same.
Here is some more info I found out after some troubleshooting:
When I goto the device manager and look into the hard drive's Driver Details, I find the following listed:
disk.sys, 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255)
ephdxlat.sys, 1.01.0046.0 built by WinDDK
partmgr.sys, 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When looking near the bottom of the Device Manager, I noticed under "Storage Volumes" there is a Device listed there as "Generic volume" and it has a yellow exclamation mark indicating a driver failed to load.
When I looked at the driver details for this Device, it has the following driver files listed:
fvevol.sys, 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255)
volsnap.sys, 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Device Manager is also showing me an error for this device: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of this device driver is still in memory (Code 38)
I built a 32bit version of my MSDart \ Access CD and it is acting the same way as my 64 bit version. To me the problem seems to stem from a driver conflict after unlocking the drive with SEEFS_Access_Utility. At the moment, that is my theory but I could be wrong.
Any ideas? I'm going to continue troubleshooting and provide more information later. Thanks for the help so far.
