What’s new in Wise Package Studio 8.0 MR1 Release?

Quality	Closed: 157 (37through a source change) Resolved 16 defects tied to customer cases (1 through a source change) Resolved 118 defects deferred from a previous release
General	Added 64-bit support to WiseScript Package Editor and WiseScript Editor Ensured that SetupCapture tool’s exclusion list properly excludes Windows 7 files and registry keys Added 64-bit support to SetupCapture tool using the snapshot method.  This does not include updating the process monitoring method. Ensured that MSI Packages Created by SetupCapture Properly Install Files to "All Users\Documents" Folder Ensured that "Encountered Improper Argument" error message does not appear when switching from "Features" tab to "Components" tab in the Windows Installer Editor.
OS support	No new platform support was added.

Manasee, Where can the MR be downloaded from? Do we need to go to the licensing site, our is there another location?

Wise 8.0 MR1 file is available for download from the File Connect page (https://fileconnect.symantec.com). You'll need a serial number in order to be able to download the software.

Thanks Anthony, I found it on FileConnect.  Took a bit to figure out what Serial Number it wants though; it is not the actual installation serial number for Wise, but some other SN that you can see in the License Portal, like Mxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.
