Is there any way we can allow only certain users access to Shared folder under Risk Assessment and Control in RMS.

By default Everyone has Read/Execute and Write permissions to this directory.

    Thanks,

    Chaitali

The only way possible is to create a subfolder under the shared folder, then you can apply specific permissions on that sub-folder.    I think that is the only way you can accomplish this task.    The folders are not actually folders like on a file system, but just placeholders in the database.  Once you create the sub-folders, you should be able to modify the permissions.

    Thanks for your response!

It is something which I will be able to implement. I have created a test subfolder in which I moved one query and one tasklist item.

What I found remarkable was the tasklist path - inside the schedule linked to it - got automatically updated as I dragged the tasklist from one folder to another.

If this schedule / task / query works fine, without errors or warning messages, I will deploy it to all my other 200 items in the shared folder in about a week's time.

    Will keep you posted.

    Thanks again!

Remember that if you are wanting other users to run scheduled tasks, then they will need to ability to schedule tasks on the server.  This is a Server based privilege and doesn't have anything to do with RMS since we utilize the Task Scheduler utility.
