  • 1.  sms smtp 5.0.1 ldap synch

    Following a full synch, i wind up with 5 entries rejected.  how do i determine which 5 they are?

    Hello,

     

    In order to find out which ones were rejected you will need to have your Audit level at low in your LDAP source. Then they will be logged in an XML file located in one of the \SMSSMTP\logs\LDAP\spp_#_dfc folders I believe. It will be under the LDAP folder for sure.

     

    The information in these might be a little cryptic, but it will at least give you a place to look. You are most likely only getting rejections of groups or something along those lines that aren't going to cause any issues.

    good copy.  it's even named - in part - "rejects".  (Would have taken an oath that I'd looked in there.  Oh, well.)

     

    "member does not exist in target but present in source": 

     

    seems to be causing "drop messages for invalid recipients" to fail due to unsuccessful/incomplete LDAP sync.
