    Hi,

How to bypass any filtering done by SMG? I want every mail(spam/no spam || Inbound/outbound) from/to my mail server without being filtered by SMG.

I just want to try the filtering capabilities of other products.

    Please help me.

    Thanks.

You should simply route around the Messaging Gateway. If you need the mail to still pass through it, you can simply edit the policy group and uncheck all of the scanning. You would then need to edit all of the reputation rules and change them to deliver normally.

As JDavis said above. best bet is to just change the internal route of mail using your firewall rules. Many mail filtering products including ours do better when they are handling the inital connection so SMTP envlople and IP information is presented directly to the filering system rather than just that of the box in front of it.

So, basically if I still want it to pass trough the smg box without any filtering, will disabling the bad senders, connection classification, good senders, spam, malware, and content filtering policies do the job? What are the effects if I do that guys?

In that case the Messaging Gateway will accept the email and deliver it to the configured mail host, normally the mail server.
