I have installed the SMSSMTP 5.0 with patch 200, to filter both ways, inbound and outbound, and sometimes when a try to send messages, I have receivedthe the following message "#< #5.5.0 smtp;553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)> #SMTP#" this particular behavior is irregular becouse is only with some particular domains and is not always.

    Hello,

Is this only when sending mail outbound? Also when you say "irregular", how often are you seeing the error? Generally this is not an error generated by the SMS server. Depending on the direction it could just be the recipient server giving that error back.

    Let me know.

    Thanks!

This particular behavior is only for the outbound messages, and for some domains not all. The flow of the messages is: from the Exchange to the SMSSMTP and then to internet.

    Thanks..

    Hello,

I am unaware of a situation with our product that would cause this error. I would suggest that you call in to support in order to get a more detailed network diagram with logging of a message getting this NDR.

    Thanks!
