Driver for Fujitsu Esprimo P900 Intel82579LM for GSS 11.5.1.2266 WINPE512(Vista)

We got several Fujitsu Esprimo P900 with on-board NIC-Chip Intel 82579LM Gigabit. When using the OEM-Vista Driver in Ghost Console 11.5.1.2266 WINPE512 the NIC is not working.

The correct Fujitsu (OEM) vista driver is e1c5132.inf +cat + sys +dlls.

The name of the Driver in Fujitsu Download area is: FTS_IntelRGigabitNetworkConnectionsDriver_1112380_1062972.zip

 

Last years everything went well with other Esprimos and other NIC-Chips.

The OEM-XP Driver is working with the locally cloned WIN-XP systems and the hardware. Implementing the PCs into the Ghost deployment system is not possible up to now. Who has the same hardware and/or knows the solution? Who can help?

 

This problem was solved with the recommended driver and the thread was closed.

Now in 2013 we got another 20 PCs (same type, same intel-nic-chip) and the successfull driver is not working from the above solution.

I tried other  vista Drivers:: Intel 11.12.38.0 (Fujitsu), Intel 11.8.78.0, Intel 11.15.16.0, Intel 12.6.45.0, Intel 11.8.84.0. All negativ.

Need advice.

Try searching on 82579 in this forum - this chipset appears to be more troublesome than most, but there are some links to driver downloads that have worked.

step by step instructions :

 

1. Download the driver files and extract them
2. Open Ghost boot wizard, choose WinPE and click on Edit
3. Choose the template where you want the add the drivers
4. Click on Edit if you want to add the drivers to the existing template or click on Copy to create a new template
5. Click on Add new driver and click on Browse
6. Navigate to the driver folder which you have extracted in Step 1
7. Expand the folder and choose Vista 32 and click on Ok
8. Give a Friendly name to it like Intel 825xx and on Applicable OS choose Vista as WinPE is based on Windows Vista
9. Click on Ok
10. Scroll down the default drivers list to locate the Friendly name you gave in Step 8
11. Select the driver by giving a check on the check box and click on Ok
12. The drivers will be added to the template
