  • 1.  Ghost stuck in DOS - How to restore MRB

    Hi,

     I had to abort a Ghost (2003) disk clone of 2 ATA drives since I found out that one has a hidden partition and Ghost won't work. I'm now stuck booting to the Ghost virtual disk. How do I restore the MBR for my disk

    back to what it was? I can see the MBR.INI file in the root. GHREBOOT.EXE does not work - it just hangs.

    Will the XP recovery console work?

    Try "gdisk /revert"

    That should restore the MBR to how it was before entering the virtual partition.
