    hai,

          I have to check in device id ,serial number it not detected in this two option.

    then how to find pen drive serial number.?

    Hello, To find the serial number, insert the flash drive into your computer. Once recognized, display the properties of the USB device using the Device Manager within Windows. Under Properties is a Details tab with a drop-down menu. Select to display the serial number of your USB drive.

    Hai,

          I have checked in USB device using the Device Manager within Windows. Under Properties is a Details tab with a drop-down menu. It's not display the serial number or Device ID of our USB drive

    Hi Bhuvanes,

     

    I supose you are talking about  Device Instance ID in DLP solution, or am i wrong?

    If so, to find that value repeat the process above and select Property "Bus relations" in Details drop-down menu.

    In my case and as an example, in DLP solution i have:

    Device Instance ID "USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_SCSIDISK&PROD_SCSI_DISK_1234&REV_1.00\201403201134003000003432&0"

    and in Details-> Property  "Bus relations":  USBSTOR\Disk&Ven_SCSIDISK&Prod_SCSI_DISK_1234&Rev_1.00\201403201134003000003432&0

    Bhuvanes,

    With the DLP agent there is a tools folder and within the tools folder there is a DeviceID.exe file.

     

    Insert the USB drive and then run that command, it will output the name and variable name for the pen dirve, which you can then put into the DLP console. 

    You will need to make sure that the '\' in the console are actually '\\'

    The DeviceID.exe. does this for you so you should be able to copy and paste the info.
