    Community,

We will be performing a 3 tier install with Enforce running on a Windows machine. I am trying to document all the steps required to install the Oracle Client on Enforce but it seems a little confusing. So far (according to the documentation)

    1. I've found that the Oracle Client may be downloaded from this site http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/winx64soft-089540.html

    2. Oracle provides installation steps for the Client here http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/install.111/b32306.pdf

I've tried to download the Basic package that should include all of the dependencies for an install but I don't see anyway to actually install the software. Does anyone have steps taken to successfully install the Oracle Client?

Also, I was going to select Administrator mode during the install. is this required or should I be selecting something different?

    Thank you

Does anybody have any recommendations on installing the Oracle Client in a 3 tier setup?

    Thank you,

The Oracle Client for DLP should be included in the software download section in file connect for the product. Use the serial number that is associated with the Oracle Database software and the client should be visible.

@NDeen, thanks I actually have the Oracle client ready to go but I just don't see anything out there that documents the installation steps.

Do we have to use Full Admin mode during the install or will Run time work?

If installing in Windows, I would recommend using a local Administrator account and do a run as administrator on setup.exe. See attachment.
