Not able to install SEPM

Hi,

I am getting an error that setup can not read the Data1.cab file, even I can explore & move that file anywhere.

please look into the image below:-

 

Please provide me the correct solution (Dont mention like I need to download it again etc. etc.)

have you copied the file onto local drive?

Yes I have coppied it into local drive & I can extract anywhere it as I had aleady mentioned!!!!!!!

Let me correct I can exlpor it from Windows Explorer, but I can not extract it using any extracting tools like Winrar (It shows file is currupted) 

 

Can you tell me how can i get this Data1.cab file ony because I can not download whole software again??

it may not be possible to only download the data1.cab, you may need to download whole package

You may not like it, But you have to download the package again, Did you use any accelarator while downloading the package

Hello,

This issue could be due to various reasons:

1) The Package downloaded itself is not a complete package.

i.e; Verify the file Downloaded size of the  .zip file

(Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_11.0.6300.803_RU6_MP3_Xplat_EN.zip is of 1.35 GB (1,456,665,873 bytes) )

2) You are running the Setup directly from the .zip file downloaded, make sure you unzip the File and then run the setup.exe

3) Make sure you are not running the Setup from a Mapped Shared folder / drive.

4) Check the steps from Microsoft.

Verify the MD5 checksum of the file to check if the download was corrupted.

if anyone can shar the Data1.cab file to me then i will be really happy because my Internet speed is not that much fast to download a 700mb + file again its too difficult to that again i know that is the last option but atleast this forum is to share whatever you can thanks in advance if you can share Data1.cab with me

The version I have is 11.0.6005

datacab is 149 MB ;file.

Wont be able to update that big file in Forum, cant guarantee that it gonna work, coz again u have to get it download on u r machine; better to download a new one.

Hi,

I am also having the same version and file size of Data1.cab is 56.5MB (When not extracted), so if you have the same then please share it its batter to download a 56MB file then a complete 730MB setup.

Data1.cab fil is inside the setup but it cannot be extracted. I think when you extracted the zip file you might not have unlocked it ( go to properties of the zip file and unblock it) then extract it.
