Renewing and updating old thread:
I find that rtvscan.exe significantly slows my computer. Symantec's first recommendation was that the path to NavLogon.dll needs to be in the Registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify as a string value for DllName. As with some others, I found that this string already existed. Another contributor then noted that NavLogon.dll needed to be in C:\WINDOWS\system32 and suggested searching for it and copying it there if it were found elsewhere. Well, on my Lenovo/IBM computer, I did find a NavLogon.dll elsewhere (in C:\IBMTOOLS\APPS\SCS\DATA1.CAB), but it's a more complex NavLogon.dll.93C43188_D2F5_461E_B42B_C3A2A318345C. Is this a corruption, or is this what I should copy to C:\WINDOWS\system32?
