  • 1.  CD / DVD Blocking

    Hi

    We need to block DVD write and copying option from disc to local computer, but the data should be executed directly from the DVD. (For e.g.:- Playing Videos from DVD but end user should not  copy the data to local computer)

    Here my query is after applying this policy can i able user able to excute any application, video from DVD/CD

    Yes.  Read only you can execute things from CD.  This part of the software is less AV, more DLP.

    Yes, You can exceute but you cannot write..

    Or you can follow this which will block the windows ebility to write to CD/DVD, check the predefined rule attached.Hope that helps

    Do you mean that cd/dvd read only policy?

    If you can configure RO policy only then Data will be access and you can able to copy it in local drive but not to able to write on CD/DVD
