Hello everyone.
I have another project in which I'm competing with this solution. This solution makes a lot of focus on the security of virtual environments, making a lot of propaganda to the integration of VMware APIs through a strategic alliance.
This solution not only integrates OfficeScan, but also different patching tools from Microsoft, exploit detection and policy enforcement (compliance). Its most important feature is that without installing agents on each virtual machine we have in our ESXs. This is done by deploying a virtual appliance within our virtual structure. What is worrying about all this, Trend Micro is doing a lot of focus with VMware in the region (SOLA) for this product.
While the new features of SEP 12.1 are very similar to those offered by Trend Micro (including McAfee), requires the installation of agents on each VM.

Some of you have competitive information, beyond the performance documents, but to focus directly against this solution?
Although, from what I know of Symantec security solutions, the product is closer in functionality Symantec Protection Suite Enterprise Edition. It would cover the following, as the solution:
Symantec Endpoint Protection: Protection for Servers and workstations.
Symantec Critical System Protection: Detection of vulnerabilities and HIPS.
Symantec Inventory Solution: patching and inventory.
Symantec Protection Center: Centralization of events.
Could it work?
I hope the comment from you, as any material or documents to share.
As always thank you very much!
