    Hi,
I have not seen any recent posts about this problem but we are experiencing screen flickering on our notebooks.
I'm not 100% sure if SEP is the reason of this problem but the event log provides this info when the problem occurs:

ESENT: DllHost (10440,G,0) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.
SecurityCenter: Statusen Symantec Endpoint Protection has been updated to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_ON.   (NOTE: translated into english)

It happens randomly and not necessary each time the event is mentioned in the log (quite often actually).

I've read a note about this problem for Norton (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/au/home/current/solutions/v109267913_EndUserProfile_en_us) but I'm not sure if it works in my situation (SEP).

Tips and troubleshooting guidance will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

What is the exact version of SEP running? Does it work as expected without SEP installed?

    Hi Brian,
The current version is 14.0.3897.1101 (updated in july 2018) and we have also installed the latest BIOS/drivers/updates from MS/HP.
We use corporate computers and we are not allowed to uninstall any softwares. Quite frustrating for troubleshooting...
