    HI ,

         My scm-server-0.log is filling up with this error . Any Ideas what could be causing it .

    it could be becuase the SEPM is unable to get the information from the internet becuase of the proxy connection ( is it configured)?

    Please Check the Symantec KB article:

    Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager homepage displays the following error:"No data, ..." in "Security Response" box and Severe with failing to load up the INDEXW.html file status under the logs session when running a report for server activity

    its filling becuase you have enabled the loggin information in the conf.prop file

    check what you have added

    Hello,

    Few Questions:

    What version of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager are you carrying?

    Do you have internet connection to SEPM?

    Please, Configure Proxy if you are using proxy.

    I think the server is not able to connect to internet to get the latest Symantec version information.

    I also think you had installed the server by taking the remote console of the server.

    Repair & reconfigure the server by taking ILO or Dameware.

    Kindly find the below document to resolve your issue. It has resolved my errors.

    Do you have internet connection to SEPM? >>> SEPM IP Address is allowed for access but Proxy is not configured .See my answer below.

    Please, Configure Proxy if you are using proxy.I think the server is not able to connect to internet to get the latest Symantec version information.>>> If I configure Proxy than my SEP Manager is not able to get Updates from my LUA  (There is no bypass option while configuring Proxy settings) which is why I have disabled the Proxy Option and as a result ,My console doesn't show the Lastest Symantec Version information .For this I communicated with Symantec and they said that I should add their sites to Trusted sites and it should work but that didn't work .

    I also think you had installed the server by taking the remote console of the server.>> Not sure but might be the case as it was installed before I joined this company.

    @Rafique ,I am aware of the logging options however I wanted to know the cause .

    @Mithun ,I can download the indexw file via browser however SEP Manager may not do this since I can't configure proxy for it .If I allow Proxy than it doesn't download liveupdates from my LUA .

    Hello,

    We recommend you to upgrade the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and all clients to Latest version.

    Since you are carrying very old version, there would be 2 upgrades you will have to go through. Please check the steps below:

    1) From Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.4014.26 to Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6005 (RU6a)
