Hi, guys how are you doing?

I have a windows server 2003 which is DHCP and it has 2 NIC's, the first NIC is Acting as DHCP server and the 2nd NIC is connected to the internet which is peer to peer from the Router in order to update the anti virus. besides, i have 25 DHCP clients which are not connected to the internet due to security reasons but only accessing  an application data from the server. A long time ago, i was using Macafee Anti Virus server only. right now, i want to buy server/clients anti virus. what i like is just once i want to deploy the anti virus thru the server, then the anti virus should be deployed and receive update outomatically to the DHCP clients. right now, my question is

     1. I heard about symantec coporate edtion has like that option.  if so, is there any help file you could help me for how to deploy?

     2. as i said, clients are not connected to the internet but the server does. so, could it be possible for the clients to receive update from the server while they are off line?

I hope you understand what am saying.

           thank you

You need Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.x small business as I do not think Symantec sell SAV 10.x Corporate Edition any more

Yes Only Server ( Endpoint Manager ) will download the definitions/updates from internet and the clients do not need internet connection as they will download the definition/updates from the Endpoint Manager/Server

As Vikrn has already mentioned that you can install SEP 12 SBSE. You can also think of SEP 11.0

The features that you will get:

    1. One Managed Console to manage and configure all the clients

    2. Clients can be deplooyed to all the computer  from the server using the deployment wizard

    3. The main server will connect to the internet and get the update and then it will update the clients

    4. there is no internet acess required for the clients.

    This may be handy

Installing the product for the first time
