    Hello
My Company plans to intigrate Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 in the System, therefore I am testing the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager on a small groups on computers.
Now eveytime when a security risk was found i get an E-Mail, normaly this is a good Service but i want to exclude the "Tracking Cookie" because nearly everytime Symantec starts a scan Tracking Cookies where found. So when this would be intigrated on more than 1000 PCs i will have plenty of mails. So in conclusion i want to delete those cookies but dont get an email for that action.

    Thanks

    Hi,

In case if you have applied policy for receiving Notification, then you would surely receive Notification for ALL Risks.

At this point there is no way you could just exclude 1 type of Threat for not receiving Notification.

However, you could exclude Tracking cookie for being scanned, which would be then be not detected as a Threat.

OR create a Centralized Risk Exception.

How to add a Centralized Exception for a detection that is not included with Known Security Risk Exceptions in the Centralized Exception Policy.

    Hi Mithun,

I would like to know if it is possible to archive the same solution EXCLUDE a certain tracking cookie from being deleted or even scanned on a machine running an unmanaged client?

Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated,
