Hi Team,

In my envoirment i am having 35,000+ client systems which are configured to take updates from GUP systems. (2000 GUP's).

So daily updates flows from SEPM to GUP's and then GUP's to Clients systems.

Basically the update definitions flows in Unicast method.

Is there any way to distribute definitions in Multicast fashion to reduce the traffic in my network.

This no setting to configure for this. The GUPs will check in based on their heartbeat setting and grab the updates.

GUPs will download the updates from SEPM as soon as these are requested by SEP Clients alone - and this happens on the clients heartbeat (pull mode) or in push mode as soon as SEPM has the updates available for clients.

I dont think so that there is any setting available for this.
