This virus has attached to ALL html files on my PC. I have tons of them (website developer).

Symantec AV says it can quarantine the files but not clean. Allowed it to quaranting them but I must not lose all these files. Can someone help?

    1) How can I remove the root virus and keep it from infecting files

    2) How can I clean the files?

Thanks Paul, I did 1-3 and quarantined 800+ files. All html, php, asp, aspx files on my PC were hit.

I need lots of these files. The symantic app cannot clean them. Clean Failed. Any ideas? How can I be sure the root virus is gone from the PC?

Is their a specific removal tool for maliFrame!html???

Hi there's no removal tool available for the Trojan.Maliframe!html, for the virus info you can access the link below,

    http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2007-071010-4808-99&tabid=1

So the detected files, (html, php, asp) you need them?

Are you a web development company? Who are sending these files? Please scan the source computer.

If you want, you can try to submit 1 of the files to Symantec Security Response let's see what is their feedback. Use the link below.
