GUPs Schedule Report

Mar 27, 2012 03:41 AM

In SEPM, there is no direct report that would let you schedule a GUPs status report delivered to a specific mailbox. However, there is a workaround by using a filter. By design, you cannot create a filter within schedule report, but you can already created one. To do so, follow theseGo to Reports -> Quick Reports. From there, pick Computer Status -> Virus Definitions Distribution. Then:

1. Choose the past 24 hours for the time range

2. Pick the groups the contain only GUPs

3. Click on Save Filter button

4. Enter a name for the filter. For example, GUPs

After that, you can switch to schedule reports tab and click on Add button, from there

5. Enter a name for the GUPs Report

6. Choose Report Type as seen below and for filter, use the newly created one

7. Pick how often you need to receive the report

8. Enter the email address you need the report to be sent to

9. Click Ok button

The result will be a report sent to the specified email address and looks like

The difference between GUPs number from one report and the next one, indicates that there are some GUPs could be offline.
