"Web Browser Integration" of Adobe Acrobat 9 (Reader, Prof. and std.) applications can be modified by changing following regidtry entries.
For Acrobat:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\ Adobe Acrobat\9.0\Original]
'bBrowserIntegration'=dword:0000

For Reader:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\Originals]
'bBrowserIntegration'=dword:00000000
I hope this will help.
Thanks,
Sid

trb48 made one for adobe 9 a while back and it worked great for me. I now have the same install of 9 for both vsas and direct installs. You can find his walkthrough here. It is about the same thing but also has information about putting it into a SVS Layer.

Adobe Reader 9 std/pro versions has an issue of openning a PDF document in a web browser/internet site.
Possible resolution is
Open reader -> EDIT -> PREFFERENCES -> INTERNET -> uncheck “Display PDF in Browser” option.

If you are customizing Adobe for deployment using Adobe Customization Wizard 9 then follow the steps:
Open Adobe Customization Wizard 9 -> Online & Acrobat.com Features -> Online Features --> Display PDF in browser -> select "Disable"
I hope this may help you guys.
Thanks,
Eshwar
