Further detail of PMImport Vendor List: Sub-component Inclusions

Jun 30, 2015 12:28 PM

The PMImport Vendor list displays hundreds of sub-components under several of the vendors (e.g. Microsoft).

Need deeper insight into the PMImport - Vendor List as follows:
1. Need to be able to view which Bulletins/Updates will be provided with each enablement.
2. Need to be able to view which Software each Bulletin would be applicable to in order to know if it needs to be enabled.

Run the attached SQL scripts to view results of each displayed request in reference to their numbers outlined above. Modify the last Where statement to input the entry of the Vendor Sub-Component or Software to be viewed.

Advisory; these reports will need to be executed in an environment with all Vendor Sub-Components enabled, for the database does not house data that is not downloaded via the PMImport.

Hi Joshua,

I would like to thanks for the effort for creating such good SQL query of Ultimate patch report.

I request you to add one more column in the attached SQL query, which will show the 'Installed Date'. (The installed date of the KB/ patches). Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rajib Kumar Sah
