We are pleased to announce the launch of both the DLP Implementation and DLP Assessment Service Delivery Resource Kits (SDRK’s). These SDRK’s have been updated based on new features and enhancements included in the latest DLP version 11.5 product release. Both of these SDRK’s are available to Symantec Partners (via PartnerNet / SymIQ for Partner) and Symantec personnel (via SymIQ), effective immediately.

Highlights

Numerous updates and additions have been incorporated into the collateral in support of this launch, including (but not limited to):

• Updates and enhancements to the Service Delivery training courseware.

• Completely revised sample project plans which provide more detail, especially for larger deployments where dedicated project managers are required.

• Pre-Engagement Questionnaire
  The Pre-Engagement Questionnaire has been updated and enhanced to provide a more focused approach for the initial assessment of the customer.
• NEW!!! Executive Summary Presentation, Operational Advice guide, Design Report Template and Test Plans!
  As new additions to the DLP Implementation SDRK, these artifacts have been included to support the Design and Operations handover phases of the service delivery offering.

• Several new additions and updates have been added to our technical content, including consolidation of implementation best practices, addition of sample architecture diagrams for small and large scale deployments, as well as a new Service Descriptions designed to communicate the value of the services and provide guidance for Statement of Work creation.

Eligibility

Partner Consultants and their company are required to meet the following criteria in order to obtain access to the Service Delivery Resources Kit (SDRK) contents:

• Active status in Symantec Specialized Partner or Master Specialized Partner program

• Access to SymIQ for Partners /PartnerNET
