We are moving to SEP 14.3 RU7 and having upgraded the management server, I have noticed that the clients no longer require a restart (Rebootless Symantec Endpoint Protection client install/upgrade (broadcom.com))
However, I have also noticed that many clients are now losing network connectivity during the installation process (seems to be more on laptops than servers). For clients connecting over VPN this causes a complete network loss and the user has to restart the VPN software. Clients in our main office lose about 15 pings but this might interrupt Teams calls etc.
Anyone seen this and found a workaround? I am considering a shutdown script to get round the issue but I feel this is a bug that Broadcom need to look at. Have opened a ticket and will post back if I get some answers.
