 Metadata import task Failed

Hi all,

Good day to you.

I need some advise on below issue:

We are getting continuous meta data import task failed with error message "Failed to process cab file https://www.solutionsam.com/imports/7_1/patch/windows/WindowsPatchSupportedResources.cab : Downloaded file has an incorrect or missing digital signature, previous version of the file will not be replaced. An error occured while verifying trust for object 'F:\Altiris Notification\Patch Management\Downloads\WindowsPatchSupportedResources.cab.TMP' (UnknownSubjectForm)."

But when try to access the link from the apps server or machine, there no issue and package had been downloaded.

We also follow step from this KB but check the network logs no issue.

Anyone can advise.

Hi Sukry,

is it new issue that you see in previously working environment? Have you confirmed that there were no changes to the network stack (firewall, proxy, etc.)?

What are the versions of ITMS and Windows Server on your SMP Server?

Have you checked WindowsPatchSupportedResources.cab.TMP in Patch Management\Downloads folder? Does it appear to be corrupted, different to one you can download using other machines?

Sorry for the late update.

• ITMS Version:  8.6
• OS on Notification Server (NS): Windows server 2016

Yes, there was a change earlier there was proxy setting and recently we removed the proxy server and entire traffic is routed to Zscaler where we are able to browse the internet and download all the required files.

Please advise.
