We have experienced almost 80 GB of database growth in the last 30 days. What is the best way to determine what is growing so quickly and what is best practice procedures for database table maintenance?
Thanks in advance for your input.
Hi Jeff Stanton,
It is essential to know which DB table is growing so quickly. To find that Table use the built-in SQL Report -> Disk Usage by Top Tables. When we know which Table is growing so quickly we can look deeper on how to resolve this.
Here are the top 10 in the "Disk Usage by Top Tables" report...I am alarmed at the "unused" size for "Inv_OS_Task_Scheduler_Windows"
I have a case open regarding this issue also. But in case anyone else has experienced this...
