CMS 8.6 RU3 Credentials Management 404

I don't have an option to reply so editing this post.

1) Files are in place

2) No Credential Manager application in IIS

3) Same as your screenshot

4) NS URL is present and correct


Hi All,

I've just installed CMS 8.6 RU3 on a fully up to date Windows Server 2019 machine.

I'm unable to access Credentials Management as the page can't be found. 


Has anyone see this before?

I did not use an offline package to install.

I have attempted a full repair of the product with no success. 

I've tried accessing in various browsers with the same result.

Hi Dewote!

Since all files are available in "C:\Program Files\Altiris\CredentialManager" folder, then you can workaround this problem (don't know why "CredentialManager" application is missed in IIS)

1. Open "Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager" as Administrator

2.  Right click on root "Altiris" application > "Add Application"
3.  Specify same "Alias" and "Physical Path" and click "OK"

Restart
"World Wide Web Publishing Service",
"Altiris Service",
"Altiris Object Host Service",
"Altiris Inventory Rule Management Service" services and try to open that page in SMP Console.

1. Do you have these files available in this location?

2. Credential Manager application is available in IIS?

3. What authentication settings has "Altiris" in IIS?

4. Is there correct NS URL specified for Credential Manager in registry?
