HI all,

On 19/6/2024, a few of our machines got the latest update from SEP, 14.3 RU3. After installing, apparently, it disconnect the LAN connection of all my machines, causing it unable to browse internet and access shared folders. Prior to that version, it was working fine.

Does anyone encounter the same issue and have a workaround?

Appreciated.

Eric

Hello,

In your Intrusion Prevention Policy, please turn off out-of-Band Scanning and test to see if that resolves the issue.

I have had this issue too - after the upgrade the devices report multiple warnings (7): Download insight & PTP malfunctioning and PTP and NaHEM Waiting for updates. LiveUpdate fails to connect to server. When I download an install package and ran manually on a device it worked OK and the client reported no errors, but it then totally lost communication with SES. Auto-upgrade seem to no longer work at all - I can get any device to upgrade on current or previous release. Prior to last week the same policy was upgrading devices to RU8 on current release with no problems.

Hi , apparently, disabling out-of-band scanning solves the issue. Should Out-of-Band be enabled in the first place?
