Subject: RE: Want to know Hardware End of life
Hi.
Security Analytics Hardware Gen 5 lifecycle was three years from original purchase. Extended support beyond the original EOL was often provided, but is no longer available; all Gen 5 systems are far beyond EOL. For J5300 systems, the general EOL period was five years. These devices are compatible with Hardware Gen 5 and Gen 6 systems, and generally the driving factor when considering EOL is the server to which they are attached. Meaning, even if they haven't reached EOL, since they aren't compatible with Hardware Gen 7 or Gen 8, it doesn't really matter.
I'd suggest getting in touch with a Broadcom IMS Solution Engineer for assistance with your particular situation. They can help look up the terms for your specific serial number.
Thanks,
Bryan
