    Can anyone help us to know if incase we can go ahead and update the security patches as per IT recommendation and please confirm if it can  impact Symantec Data Loss Prevention Network Monitor.

    No. Database is a separate component on a different machine normally (2 or 3 tier environment)

    I don't see any information where we can assume it is a DLP issue, it is an OS system issue and as such it should be dealt by your organization OS team. If system requirements are in compliance with the DLP solution, it should be fine. However, a test environment will give a you a definite answer.

    Note: I will suggest not to post internal information such as IP Addresses in this or any other Internet forums.

    All of those errors or recommendations are OS related and will have NO impact on DLP functionality. The recommendations are around Watson and logging configurations, nothing is application based. 

    It really looks like the Server Team is not using a standard build architecture.
