  • 1.  Recent Chrome updates required restart of the computer

    Hi everyone,

    we experienced that recent Google Chrome updates required a restart.

    Usually this did not happen in the past and we would like to understand if there is a reason for that?

    Did Google change something in the update behavior or is the detection if a reboot is required or not a problem?
    Did anyone else experienced the same and wondering why this happens?

    Hi J E,

    that was an issue with installation script that is now resolved in Patch Data build 7.3.1242 that also includes new CHROME-230419 bulletin (for Google Chrome version 112.0.5615.138).
