    Dear Broadcom,

Our IP (23.254.250.80) had a negative reputation when checking on "https://ipremoval.sms.symantec.com", which listed two reasons:

    > The host has been observed sending spam in a format that is similar to snow shoe spamming techniques.

    > The host is unauthorized to send email directly to email servers.

Our email systems was migrated from one service provider to current provider, "Hostwinds".

    1. Currently, we have double checked all email sending from our server and check with all company members. We didn't send any spam emails out. Mainly we are sending out emails to business clients, and also we didn't do any broadcasting emails which may identify as spams.

    2. After checking other RBLs, the IP is not listed on any other known RBLs. (For instance: Network Tools: DNS,IP,Email). Besides, by using "dig OURMAILDOMAIN", it shows the right email server IP. We tested email sending to gmail, everything went well.

Currently, because of negative IP listed on symantec, some of our clients cannot receive our emails which affects a lot of our business and client experiences.

Could you help to delist our IP?

Please let me know if I need provide other supporting.

    Thanks

    Best

    Marshal

    Hello,

Please post all questions relating to IP removal in the SMG forum (https://community.broadcom.com/symantecenterprise/communities/communityhomeblogs?CommunityKey=bba1e9dc-0c56-4fb5-9e3d-ef7f0d79b7ee).  The IP reputation list is part of the SMG product, and merely consumed by Email Security.cloud in the same way that it might consume any other number of DNSBLs etc. (and in the same way that other third parties can consume the SMG list).
