Max amount of custom roles?

    Hi all, does anyone know the maximum amount of administrator roles one can define?

    I need a pretty huge amount of limited admins with a selective role for a customer project. 
    All admins should have access to seperate client groups.. please do not mention the tenant option as this is limited to 50 tenants only...
