Hi Tommy,
Ok that's good, can't say much without seeing logs, but if you are using a post 14.3 RU1 SEPM your issue might be related to
After upgrading Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to version 14.3 RU1, LiveUpdate stops working properly
Let me know if that fixes your issue.

Hello Tommy,
Which SEPM version is this? does it work using http as source server under: Admin > Servers>local Site> Edit Site properties> Live update> use a specified Internal Lieupdate Server: set it to : http://liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com
Save and test live update.
If this doesn't work, log a case so support can assist you further.

Dear Experts, anyone manage to resolved the "LiveUpdate encountered one or more errors. Return code = 4". Based on the article below, it seems related to Windows Authentication, I have confirmed that I am not using any proxy and both Windows Authentication and NT LAN Manager Authentication was unchecked.
LiveUpdate fails on the Endpoint Protection Manager with errors in Log.LiveUpdate
As a workaround, I even try to reconfigure the SEPM using the recovery files without restoring the existing DB yet, the same error is still occurred.
Running out of ideas.
