Hi, I'm using Symantec 14.3 RU5 build 8268, 14.2 also have this problem to run on-demand scan when filename have japanese or other non-english.

    Step to reproduce the error:
    1. Go to the drive (e.g. D:/ or E:/ etc) other than the C:/ drive
    2. Then, create three .txt filename with わたし, boîte, english
    3. Scan with Right-click menu "Scan for Viruses..."
    4. Only filename "わたし" cannot be scanned.
Things I tried to scan successfully:
    1. I can scan successfully with Symantec Right-click menu, though a english named folder, with these .txt (わたし, boîte, english) file inside.
    2. I also tried and can scan with microsoft defender

Error example of scanning the filename わたし, said DoScan Error No files/folders could be scanned.

    anyone the same? thank you.
