Hi Torsten
Yes, I have two instances running in a single SQL server. The DCS server and DCSSA instance is working fine.
As for the SEPM instance, is newly added. Here are the content of the SEPM > TCP/IP
The TCP/IP:1433 was manually added by me.

Just a try,
- there are two MS SQL Server instances on the machine, did you have the correct port?
- Can you please go to the bottom within the Protocols for SEPM => TCP/IP Properties and confirm that there is only 1433 and not 65### configured?

Subject: Error 11501: unable to connect to the database
Hi,
I'm trying to setup a new SEPM and connect to my SQL database. During the process below, it not allowing me to proceed.
Is there any steps I missed?
- SA password confirmed.
- SQL Server Client folder:C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\Client SDK\ODBC\170\Tools\Binn
- both Windows Firewall is turn off.
- Ping test to SQL server is working fine.
TCP/IP enabled
Manually insert the port number 1433 into TCP Port
running out of ideas.
