Block Youtube

Hi,

we have proxy ASG in transparent mode. I have blocked youtube using application namec and simple url both. but it is still accessible in normal browser. It is only blocked in incognitive mode or once the browser history/cache is deleted. any suggestion how to block it completely without clearing cache on end users machine?

I recommand you enable SSL inspection and verify that SSL inspection is correctly decrypted.

 

and verify firewall have deny UDP 443 port.

 

Next, you have many ways to achieve your results:

1. Based on the application name 'youtube', force deny.

2. Force deny the URL domains 'youtub.com' and 'googlevideo.com'.
